The Problem

There is a known issue with Internet Explorer 7 and 8 when trying to view a Sonic Mediasite webcast in Angel. When clicking on a webcast you may see a player load error that indicates that permission was denied.

This error is caused by a problem in the way that IE interprets links that are framed (in this case, a website is being framed by Angel).

Affected Software

• Internet Explorer 7.0 and above

Workaround

There are two options for workarounds:

1. Use the Firefox web browser. This error does not occur in Firefox. (Download Firefox here.)
2. If still using IE, then right-click on the presentation link and choose “Open in new window.”
